Fleet Miami and MBFA host the second in a series of Cars, Art and Yacht Events during the Palm Beach Cavallino Classic

Jan 24, 2015

During the Cavallino Classic, Palm Beach-based art collectors gathered with car and yachts aficionados at Mark Borghi Fine Art on Worth Avenue.

Mark Borghi, the owner of MBFA, and Kathy Kennedy, Director of Marketing for Fleet Miami, an elite membership consortium for worldwide luxury yachting, welcomed over 100 guests at the gallery for their second Cars, Art and Yacht Event.

Guests viewed the amazing work of artist John Chamberlain, who almost singlehandedly gave automotive metal a place in the history of sculpture. With his signature twisted and smashed automobile fenders, fins, bumpers and hoods, Chamberlain creates a poetic fusion of abstract expressionism and pop that is breathtaking to behold.  Our VIP guests also enjoyed a wine tasting provided by The Virginia Phillip Wine Shop & Academy.

Mark Borghi Fine Art specializes in American Post-War Art, maintaining a strong inventory of the New York School, European Modern, and Contemporary Art with galleries in Palm Beach, Bridgehampton, and New York City.

Fleet Miami currently offers members use of 8 similarly-equipped private yachts, from 36 feet to 154 feet, and a choice of captained cruise itineraries to idyllic destinations in the Caribbean, Mediterranean and the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. “We go beyond the ordinary on land and at sea,” explained Kennedy, "ensuring members personalized concierge services that secure insider access to the best restaurants, hottest clubs, villas, concerts and shows in each port where we dock.”
